Since its inception, the Maurice English Poetry Award has benefited from the generosity of partner institutions who have hosted its events. The first readings by award recipients were held at The Philadelphia Art Alliance and the Curtis Institute of Music. Subsequent readings were held at Storm King Art Center in Mountainville, NY, and more recently at the American Irish Historical Society (New York) and at The Rosenbach in Philadelphia. Beginning in 2023, Moore College of Art and Design, Philadelphia, has generously hosted the readings for the award.
